It has been 29 years since Joseph Orlicky gave the first comprehensive articulation of MRP as the new way of life in Production and Inventory Management. Orlicky was writing in 1975 after 10 years of implementation history. Here we are in 2004, and we are still at it, implementing and re-implementing.
